We are the only independent architectural anodizer on the West Coast, though customers come to us from throughout the nation. Our specialties include quick turn-around times, custom fixturing for fabricated parts and UV-resistant coloring for your anodized product.
Alum-A-Coat processes aluminum for a wide-range of customers from extruders, architectural manufacturers, machine shops and many other industries. We offer Type II anodizing with Commercial, Class II and Class I film thicknesses.
We offer a variety of colors including clear, gold and a variety of bronze shades using the two-step, electrolytic coloring system, the standard for architectural anodizing.
Our finishing process is approved by the American Architectural Manufacturers Assosication’s (AAMA) on their Verified Components List. This certification is given only to processors whose finish meet or exceed AAMA’s vigorous specifications for corrosion resistance, coating weight, thickness and hardness.
Aluminum parts processed by Alum-A-Coat have been installed in a variety of geographic areas including most of North America and internationally, as well. End-uses for aluminum anodized by Alum-A-Coat include high-end residences, iconic skyscrapers, several football stadiums, solar installations and many, many others. Whatever your anodizing needs are, we are prepared to provide you with high-quality finishing and great customer service.
Our process tanks can accommodate parts up to 32 feet long, 2 1/2 feet wide and 5 1/2 feet deep and up to 1,000 pounds (450 kgs).
Our process line is supported by an on-site machine shop, welding shop and chemical analysis laboratory. Our technicians and chemists have multiple decades of experience that help ensure that our facilities operate at the highest standards without disruption.
